Legends of Bucks County! Where did they do all of this racing? [/ QUOTE ]I must refer you to Barry Ferris at Langhorne Speed Shop. He Has been there since 1968 and was a wrench at Reedman before that. He has known The COPO since the day it arrived at Reedman as He wanted the green Car next to it! He Has sold parts for the COPO to the First 3 Owners and is one of the Many first hand accounts I have spoken with. He would be able to tell you the Actual Streets that were utilized for Tire Tread Diminishing acts of Bravado! ![]()

![]() [/ QUOTE ] You get an 'A' for adjective usage. I was born and raised in Langhorne, PA and bought a lot of my speed stuff from LSS. However, any legends of Bucks County did not race in Bucks County, the real racing was in Philadelphia - from just over the line at the Woodhaven dead end to Front Street, to down by the Airport. Also, the only legend I know of is Donny Grasso.

One "Langhorne Speed Shop" and "Mr.Barry Ferris" in Particular. you should also be familiar with him, given His lengthy employment there and subsequent Purchase of said establishment. I attached a photo in my last post of "L.S.S." and this attachment will show Barry with The COPO's 4th Owner, John DiGiallorenzo. I never heard of "Donny Grasso". ![]() ![]() ![]()

I was 2 in '69, so your car racing on the streets of anywhere was before my time. I got my fair share in though, also on Front, Woodhaven, Red Lion, and down by the auto mall. Remember they hooked about 150 cars down there the other year?
Grasso owned a few speed shops, and is the last registered PA owner of a '69 Yenko Camaro that Cliff Ernst now owns.

Red Lion Road, is'nt that one of the Nations worst Intersections?? I never did any Car action in the Northeast, But I did a lot of Motorcycling up there. Northeast Philly Girls were Very Friendly! ![]()

Lets not forget the Meadows in Port Richmond.
I spent many a night running from the Men In Blue trying to find the next road. ![]() ![]() Do you remember The Doggie Diner across from Roy Rogers??? I have known Barry for many years. GREAT GUY!!! He worked for Pete at Ben Pilla before he brought Langhorn.A friend brought a Green LS6 from him about 10 years ago. Last I heard it was still collecting dust in his garage

I assume you are the previous owner to 12bolt. Are you clarifying this statement he made in the original post.
"He removed the Engine and took it To The Drag World Famous Engine Builder, "Radar". the Engine Remained Standard Bore and He Balanced and Blueprinted the 427" Just trying to follow your statement and what it means.
