the rear suspension is what appears to be just normal leaf springs and shocks.

All 67 had Mono leaf springs and non staggered shocks... does it have a traction bar all SS, Z28's, and L30 4 spd cars?
Also remeber even if it had a small bloack originally or a 325 HP 396 that does not mean that it is not a Motion car. Joel used all kinds of different cars.
Run a National Insurance Crime Report on it (if you can) and see where it was sold new.

What are you guys reading that gives any indication of anything Motion ?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's a good guestion Bob. The two things mentioned were the paint and holes for a rear emblem that is missing. The '67's, 68's and most of the '69's did not have Motion emblems and the Motion emblems were attached with double stick tape, so there would not be any holes. The other thing was the paint scheme which is vaugely similar to some of the '70's paint styles. Neither of these give any indication of a Motion car and in fact the opposite. So we have a rusted out 8 cylinder '67 sitting in a field and it might be a Motion?? I always follow up on leads, but this one looks does not even seem promising to start.

Just to at fuel to the fire... more evidence against the car is the location. Not many Motion cars ventured far past the East Coast...

'cept the two that were done for the prince of the Chiawawa (sp?) province of Mexico The Motion cars were done for a variety of folks, who had money but lacked the talent or knowledge - per locals around the N.East. Several were bought by football players, etc...
