I think the dum dum in the rivet holes is ok, but agree with Earl on the rest. Hard to judge those holes. I've seen some with gobs of that stuff, and some with hardly any.

The dum-dum is correct, the 6cyl stuff is probably a quick install when the 454 went in. I personally think it's a steal at the buy it now price!

I don't want to spend your money, but from what I saw in the ebay pics - along with the paperwork - and triple black to boot, I think it's a good deal. Just the fact that it won't need PA sheetmetal-replacement is a major plus!

I would ask for a pic of the vin to make sure it matches the POP, a pic of the core support to make sure it's a BB (they are hard to find and expensive), and if it matches up.....

- Note the auction states front sheet metal has been changed and I wonder if the whole front nose was changed including rad support? . Then the thought would be why and did it include replacement of the subframe too? . A triple black L78 and bench w/ column shift....ooooh baby! . Good luck Rich!!! ~ Pete

Sent you a pm as well with some more positives. For reference, I've passed on a BB Novas that had no original drivetrain left, and no paperwork in the $4-6k range. ( I eventually bought one of course , but it was a really good deal )

I figured the front end sheetmetal was damaged, which is why I suggest a pic of the core support. If the sub was swapped out, it's not too big of a deal - provided the BB engine mounts were retained. I think the auction questions state that it was not in an accident, but...

Also states the original SS hood is there, should have the little brackets underneath for the grilles. Doesn't really matter that it's dented, as long as those little brackets are there - they can be installed onto a nice non-SS hood. Heck, even if they are missing I think the repros are spot-on per Schoneye!
