Pete, any pics of your car posted anywhere? My Dad had a '67 Impala before he bought his now owned '68 El Camino.

Hey, there's a familiar car to me. We've discussed this thing before because it's from my area. It is a factory 427 car that had the altered wheelbase treatment done to it very early in it's life. A friend of mine owned it for awhile back in the seventies and said it could yank a wheelie anytime, anywhere. He had the tickets to prove it. The original builder is a very well known street rodder still here in St. Louis. The car was yellow with flames forever, but recently I was looking at a beautiful '40 Ford Deluxe Coupe that was for sale, and on the garage wall was a photo of the altered wheelbase '68 Biscayne when it was still black. A very well known car in St. Louis that even ended up on it's roof during a street race in south St. Louis one night!
