Default real numbers matching X-code Z/28 value ??

I have a friend with a real 69 camaro Z/28 that might be for sale shortly.it has been stored indoors since the late 80's.cant remember if its a X-33 or X-77,but the kicker is......he has the original and i mean original 302.the motor was taken out in the mid 80's and replaced with a 350.i'm sure the trans and probably the rear are not original as this car saw some serious beatings.it was pretty quick back in the day.if i reacall it may be a D-80 car also.it has tach and gauges and a rosewood wheel.but these may have been added over the years, maybe not.the owner has been surfing E-bay and knows what these cars are worth, but my question to you is .....what is it worth??? i'll be selling it myself and from what i can remember the body is not that bad.its blue w/blue int.the motor was pulled and put in the corner.original intake, valvecovers and pullys.THE ORIGINAL HOLLEY IS ON A PICKUP TRUCK SOMEWHERE!!!!.no stamping required here.the motor is 100% legit. values ???? let me know.again the last time i saw it about 5 yrs ago and it wasnt that bad.easy resto for sure.

ps.....when the motor was removed it ran perfectly and had less than 30k orig miles!!!!

with the original motor in hand the car is automatically worth 30k as an original Z if in good condition and it goes up from there depending on total condition and original parts.... does it have the UH radiator..origianl rear end , trans...original shifter , dist, 837 alt, YH wheels ...those parts are hard to find and pricey and effect the value quite a bit

i'm gonna get over there this week to see it.the car has only had 2 owners but was driven hard in the 80's.i'm not sure what survived thru the 80's hot rod era.as far as trans and rear,i'm sure their not original.i'll check dates and codes when i see it.the owners trying to hold on as long as possible but, financial issues are forcing the sale.i was thinking between 25-30k.i dont even think the intakes ever even been off the 302!!! i'll keep you posted.....

Take some photos if you can and take some notes on the car. Even though you are confident it is a two owner car take a photo of the trim tag so we can check if it is real or a repro..lots of repro tags floating around so you can't be too careful on that issue . There is a 69 Pace Car on ebay right now and it really looks to be a real Pace Car but the trim tag is not real and is suspected that a person working on the car switched the tag out on the owner. So you just need to be careful .
And a suggestion...if you go and think you are really interested in buying the car..be prepared to pay what you are willing...people change their minds..or sell to others. He could be talking to other prospective buyers. Lock the car up with a deposit and get some advice here on the car .
