He used the wrong rims!! They take a 14x6. I liked it better with the slots! Also It dosnt make sense to me why he put whitewalls on it when he left all the other day 2 stuff on the car. Should have went with small lettered polys!! JMO

Can someone explain to me why a '70 GTO came standard with manual drum brakes and 6" wheels in 1970 when every Chevrolet performance model (SS, Z28 etc.) 1969 and after included power disc brakes as a mandatory option, as well as typically included a 7" wide wheel as part of the package?
Even if you ordered the optional Ralley II wheels on a '70 GTO they were still only 6" wide...and the GTO option didn't get you any additional braking upgrades whatsoever?  Why were power front discs so important to the Chevrolet division's engineers but not Pontiac's?

Do you think it has something to do with the 10 bolt rear in Pontiacs and 12 bolts in Chevrolets?
