I just came back from Toronto last monday and made great time back to Chicago until 3 miles east of the IL line on 80/94 at 2 pm. The contruction and Toll booth at the interstate 80 split going westbound has traffic backed up for miles. It took an hour to go the 6 miles to the 80/294 split.
Even back in March we saw westbound traffic backed up for miles at 2:30 am. Take the scenic route and avoid the 80/94/294 contruction area!!! Mark
