Default My daily driver in 1974

Found these old polaroids of my Hugger Orange 1970 Camaro. I took the pictures in 1974 at our village park. The car was fun to drive and I got many a tickets with it. 350, 4speed, 12 bolt. Chrome reverse wheels were it back then.

Brings back great memories. Although the 70 was my third Camaro at that point, it was the first second generation I owned and was the start of my love for these cars. Check out the 8 track player.

My buddies 340 Dart is parked behind me. Great times back then.

Rick H.

My everyday driver in highschool was a 71 6 cyl auto Paid $300 for it painted it put in an interior kit and drove it for a year and then I went big time and bought a 71 RS with a 307 4spd for $500 the 307 had been overrevved and broke the timing chain ...well you know what happened bent every valve in it... I had a 350 that was built and dropped it in, painted it put an interior kit in it... then drove it through the rest of highschool... sure wish I could pick up early 2nd gens for $300 -$500 again...
GONE are those days!!!

Looks like the mirror got ripped off at one point and the top of the door was spotted with primer...
BEEN THERE DONE THAT!!!

My daily driver(s) in 1974 would've somewhat resembled these:

Hey...I was only 8 in 1974.
