Steve,
But there is one original drivetrain Copo with a convert vin!! The Copo was bought in original unrestored condition, tired and with original drivtrain in '85, with a 124679N vin! Strange but true! Mark |

Sorry for jumping on this thread But I currently have a 69 copo camaro, as far as I know it is real, and it has a vin that comes back as a convertible. Is there any way to verify the origins of the car? Ive been searching but havent found any luck. I was told this was the site to find the best info. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check the VIN against the Cowl tag and the partial VINs on the firewall and the upper cowl through the cowl vents. Also is the org engine still in the car?? Check the VIN on the block and the engine code to see how they all match up.
Since it has a Vert VIN I wonder if they might have put the "X" brace under the car as well. Would be neat to see the cars info, any pics
