68 Impala Ss427 hoods are selling used for 6500 and I know of one NOS one that sold for 12,000 and another is going up for sale for 15,000. I can almost see that with only 1773 of these cars being produced. How many GTO's were made with this hood to make them that rare.

Dang, I know where thers a 69 SS427 Impala for $5K, w/the beat up original block in the trunk. Is it worth buying just for the hood? I would have bought it already, but 69's don't look as cool as 67-68's to me.
(400hp, not the L72)

Hood was not special on 69Ss427 just 67 and 68.Car is still worth 5000 if it is a original ss427 with the matching block.
