Default 1968 z/28 convertible

i was reading on another camaro site that that 1968 z28 convertible was at a car show in california this past weekend.i was just wondering if anybody questioned the owner.they are saying its really convincing in every detail.did anybody in that area get a chance to see it?i remember talking about it on this site.i cant find that old discussion

The 68 Z convertible was built for Pete Estes. The car had all the documentation stolen at a car show a year or two ago. Below is a link to the last time (I think) it was auctioned. There are a few pictures.

If I remember correctly, the documents were in a briefcase that was stolen. The person that stole it probably didn't know what the papers were.

The one at the Good Guys show was the clone(blue RS) and beautiful.
