Amen and very well said, redeuce. I'm a little tired myself of self-proclaimed 'experts' ripping apart other cars to show off their knowledge of certain vehicles. Even when they're not even for sale like the Fathom Green '69 Camaro in the new Hemmings musclecar magazine that ended up belongng to a member of this very own board. I guess picking flaws is what you do when you can't afford the car.

OUCH!!!
I may be in the minority here but...I come to this site for the knowledge of the members. We DO have "experts" here and if they did not impart their knowledge then I would feel slighted. If you are going to advertise a car as a "frame off restoration" then be ready to hear what is not correct on the job you did. You can rebuild a car from the ground up, but if you don't put it back to the way it rolled off the dealers floor then it is a rebuild not a restoration. As for the "not being able to afford" part...do you think that every "expert" at documenting art for the Louvre can afford to by the art for themselves? Does that make them any less an expert?
