Default Hilton Head Concours

The Hilton Head Concours is the annual motoring festival held on Hilton Head Island. It is returning for the 6th year Nov. 1-4 and is an awesome event. This year they are having vintage racing, hot-lap rides, an auction and fashion show. They are also having really cool exhibits this year with over 150 cars participating cars. Bill Marriott of Marriott hotels is the Honorary Chairman and is bringing 2 cars from his personal collection (a 1967 Ferrari and a 1955 Maserati PF Coupe). A car that used to belong to Elton John will also be there. The main displays are going to be of Italian sports cars, American hotrods and muscle cars, vintage motorcycles and antique ambulances and fire trucks. This was a really fun event last year so I thought I'd pass it on to all you car enthusiasts!

I understand that an award-winning 1972 Chevy Nova (Yenko) owned by Oscar Calder and an award-winning 1932 Ford 2-Door Sedan owned by Carly Iulo may be in attendance at the Nov. 1-4 Hilton Head Concours d'Elegance.

Maybe a 69 or 70 but I don't think they made any 72's.

I'm just guessing here, but since it is a Concours gathering and if his information is correct,I would imagine it's a standard 1972 Nova sold new from Yenko Chevrolet, and is either an unrestored survivor,or meticulous restored example.
Meaning not necessarily a Yenko Hi-performance modified "SuperCar" as we are accustomed to here.

I am way out of my league here, guys. But I found this at oldride.com

1972 Chevy Yenko Nova Duce LT-1 Recreation
So, I guess it is a recreation, not an original?

Maybe, in this case, just a 'creation'?

If it wasn't 'created' in the beginning, (as in a '72 DEUCE) how can it be "RE" created?

(Why do I keep hitting myself with the hammer? I know I'll regret this too. Charley; feel free to delete this if it gets as stupid as the "is a 435 HP Vette......" fiasco!)
