Hello all,
I don't post a lot but I try to take it all in as I am still learning the hobby. But this issue really bothers me. I see a lot of adds where the seller says 'only serious 'inquiries'. I can certainly understand that, who wants to be bothered by anybody except a true buyer? But that is part of the process of selling a car. Before I bought my car I probably seemed like a not-so-serious buyer too, but the real reason was the particular car I was looking at was not for me. When I did come upon a car I wanted, I bought it. Not everybody knows 'exactly' what they want - I sure didn't. But sooner or later I would find something that I liked and I would buy. Buying a car is a process that we all go through just like selling. I suggest that if a seller does not have the time to put in the effort it takes to sell their car, maybe he/she should sell on consignment. The money they pay for this service has to be worth the hassle they avoid. I have sold many a car in my day and yes, it is a pain, talking with people that don't seem interested but that is the nature of the beast. JMO... Rob M.
