You guys should send those PICS to USSR Today. I sent them a photo of some thunderstorms over the Gulf of Mexico and they published it.

Check it out under 'reader weather photos.' Mine is the one submitted by 757Driver. They put one in the paper every Friday.

12pm?! That's just getting warmed up. Try 5:00 p.m. when you're getting cooked from above and below from the vast amounts of asphalt and concrete. On a hot one we'll get to 115 or so..... but, it's a dry heat!

Quit being coy Bruce, you guys get snow down there

Last year after the auctions we stopped at the In-N-Out Burger in Scottsdale. The sky was amazing, very dark, and windy. It ended up snowing, of course it melted as soon as it hit the ground. There were a couple of people who got up without finishing there meals, got on their cell phones to tell someone and stood outside in utter surprise that it was snowing. Pretty cool.

About ten years ago I picked up a car in New Mexico. We towed it behind the truck on a dolly. There was alot of snow in NM. When we got to a friends house in Scottsdale, after about an hour a "log" of snow fell out from the rear valence. My buddy exclaimed that was the first time he had ever seen snow on his street.

It was just an attempt at a little humor poking fun of that newspaper. It's hard to say much without offending someone.
