Yep..Clark near Peterson. Bet he would remember a 53 Skylark coming out of there with what looked like a new top. Damn car looked near to rallye green...just beautiful with a white convert top.

Here she is in stock street trim (sans hubcaps) in front of Jerry Z's house shortly after buying it from Gordy (early '63)...




Notice the torsion bars are cranked way up in the front .

Thanks fellows. Its my pleasure. I am really proud of her. I grew up with MoPar (all LoPo) and have a soft spot for odd, non-pretty ones!

Kinda reminds me of some of the 'plain girls' in high school who turned out to be knock-outs a few years later.

I too remember the sound of those Max Wedge cars. Still makes my heart race and puts a BIG smile on my face when I hear them.
