1962 Corvette Ermine White with RED Interior
I don't usually do this, but this car is owned by a very good friend, and I am helping him sell the car. He has had some health issues and driving the 62 is difficult. He drives his 2003/54 Corvette now instead. So it's time to move this one along.
GROUND UP RESTORATION WAS COMPLETED IN APRIL, 1998 BY RON'S RESTORATION, FITCHBURG, MA. AS OF JULY, 2000 THIS CORVETTE WAS THE EARLIEST ASSEMBLED 62 ON RECORD WITH NCRS. (#101 AUGUST 16, 1961) IN 2001 THE 62 ALUMINUM GRILLE AND BAR WAS REPLACED WITH A 1960 GRILLE BAR AND TEETH SET BY RON'S. A FULLY RESTORED HARDTOP WAS PURCHASED FROM GLASSWORKS (THE HARDTOP SHOP) IN 2002. (CURRENT VALUE $6,000) DURING 2003 (14,325 MILES) THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION WERE REBUILT BY KNOX'S GARAGE AND NEW TECH TRANSMISSION. ( COST $5,000 PLUS) INCLUDED IN THE SALE IS THE ORIGINAL WONDER BAR RADIO, RED VALVE COVERS, AND THE 62 ALUMINUM BLACK FINISH GRILLE & BRACKETS. ALSO INCLUDED ARE 4-670/15 TIRES, AND 4 CHROME CRAIGER RIMS WITH TIRES. THE CAR CURRENTLY STANDS ON FIRESTONE 205/75R/15 NARROW WHITEWALLS. I was away in Dallas, so I didn't have my computer to answer. The HP is in the Add. Thanks, It's been a very well cared for Vett and restored by a Great Corvette Guy in Massachusetts. It has taken many awards.
