Hi everyone!
I need to restore the turbine wheels of my 74 Camaro and I can’t find any good reference that could help me identify the original colors or finish used on it. All I have are small pictures from brochures of the time they were an optional for 74 models. Surprisingly, friends at NASTYZ28 tell me those wheels are pretty rare and so far I couldn’t get a nice picture of the originals. It seems the Turbines have 2 or 3 colors witch are tricky to determinate. If anyone can help with a picture or even an opinion, thanks in advance. Important to say the 74 Turbines are not the same for 78. In 74 they had a plastic cover attached to it, they were not aluminum. Here are the pictures I have so far. From 74 and 75 brochures: ![]() ![]() ![]() And here the 3 colors I think were used. Or the wheel is just dirty, don't know. ![]() Thanks, Nikollas. Below, the wheels in my Camaro, but without the stock look that I want. ![]() |
