295th (Oct 22) and 296th (Oct23) day of the year. That matches the timeframe of your car. The rotors are also stamped with ink just like that in yellow.

This just in.....

Don Stowers forwarded this photo of his 01B '69 Yenko Camaro. Date on the self-adjuster is consistent with the build date of the car. What a wonderful original car Don. Best of luck with the sale at Mecum!

That's original un-disturbed dirt and Nelson took the photo.

Another update on the Z.

Front end is just about done! New lower ball joints, lower control arm bushings, idler arm, pitman arm, offset shafts, and some hardware were all replaced. The original 2 piece rotors were being cut as I was leaving (the one completed looked great) and new wheel bearings (inner and outer) were being inspected. The oil pan was hot tanked and the dents removed - slug too(!) and the gasket replaced. The flywheel was about to be cut, and the new Ram clutch will be installed shortly too. Delco front shocks should be in today...

New bushings are pressed in the new rear leaf springs along with new hardware... and then some Uncle Sam Scardino Traction Action Bars will be installed, with new rear KYB shocks. The diff and trans are the last items to be gone through and then we're smooth sailing. Waiting on some new rubber and still toying with the exhaust system swap. Enough jabber now onto the photos...

Dan

Evidence of an original front bumper guard car...

Lower control arms were hot tanked too

clean internals

Moog replacement parts

tanked drag link and tie rods (both original)

peak of the offset shafts

rear drums getting cut

original upper ball joints

and lots to clean
