Mascar could carefully just repaint it. I think it does need to be painted.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When we certified this car I affectionately call the Leopard because of the exterior rust blotches, it attracted more attention than any other car at the 2015 Vintage area. I heard a lot of comments on both sides, but it's very unique. I tell everyone who asks about survivor cars, if you're buying it as a survivor to preserve you must accept it flaws and all.
First this is a fabulous example of a well preserved car in 4 out of 5 areas and it scored as such. If I were to buy the car I would leave it at is because it's quite a conversation piece, and certainly a one of one. However at some point I'd probably repaint the car, and you know I love original cars but to me the exterior paint needs refreshing. Danny the previous owner did an outstanding documenting and referencing virtually every aspect of the car, and sharing it with everyone. At our show there was always a crowd around it.......

I would raise the stance a little in the front, and drive it!
