I thought the Formula hood was standard on a Formula Firebird?

The dual inlet hood was std, but the functional RA was an option only on the H.0.in 71 and required in '72 as previously stated.

They are very low production cars, with the LS5 455 H.O. and even more so with a functional Ram Air Hood.

Very cool cars.

However, I would never pass on a car like this just because it doesn't have ram air. The air induction on these cars were simply an option and don't "make" a car like a RAIV. Think of it as a RAIV without the ram air.

Yes we dont want to forget the ram air.I think the formulas have the best looking hood with the two big scoops.
