Bob;
That's one of the best cars to use as a reference! If you ever need a specific picture of something let me or MikeA know, Tommy K is pretty close to us.

I was subscribing on MCR, before it stopped... Is there posible to subscribe now, does anyone know?
Is there anyone that would care to send a magazine to Norway, aginst a reasonable fee of course?

I don't think that there will be a regular magazine to subscribe to. More than likely, they don't want anyome else to use the name Musclecar Review. So they will issue one magazine every year just to keep a current claim on the copyright for that name. When Hachette killed off Cycle magazine several years ago, they did the exact same thing. They come out with a copy of Cycle magazine sportbike issue once a year.

There was about 6 mags at my local Wal mart and they are all gone. Hopfully the bean counters will see this was a good seller and bring it out again soon. Then again based upon past history with these publishers don't get your hopes up to high.

I really hope this wasn't a way for Primedia to cut costs by reducing the payroll.I bought the old MCR for the articles as well as the people writing them.I loved Tom's page as well as Paul Z. and the others.These guy's made this mag what it was,gave it a personality.It may return but it will never be the same.........

I don't think the payroll had anything to do with it. I think that mag was just a dog in terms of sales. That is why all the other musclecar mags folded. We may like MCR but most other hobbyist will not buy it unless it is all Mopar, all Chevy etc. The same reason why the Musclecar Nationals etc never took off. I was the Director of the NMCA back in '90-'92 before the hard core racing bit took over. We found out through many surveys/events/trial and error etc that only a small segment of the hobby want to see cars of different makes other than their own. That is why shows like Super Chevy, Mopar Nationals, Ford Nationals are so popular. There will never be a large show with musclecars like the Street Rod Nationals that pull in 14-15K cars. Will never happen. Too much animosity between the makes. Also most hobbyist only have so much money/time to spend. They will hit their cars marque show before all others.
