I'am not having alot of luck ID ing this Muncie, The Colvin book does not give alot of info for real early Muncies.
Thanks case..............3851325 tail housing.....3846429 speedo fitting is on the driver side cover.......3831707 side metal tag........3841435 partial Vin#.....F316120 P0709 ?? This looks like a 65 to me, just not sure Mike ![]() |

Mike,probably an early GM Big car (Impala, Catalina etc.)

Mike, The 325 case, 429 tailshaft, and 707 side cover are all the same as my 1965 corvette early car. But its obviously its not a corvette because of the vin. I would have to say it out a 1964 or early 65 passenger car. I believe they went from a 429 tailshaft to a 584 tailshaft in Feb 1965.

Wow, very late car. The last 64 built at Flint was only about 7000 cars from that one. Neat tranny!
