Default Holley 6R2762 Main Body

I have a Holley 6R2762 main body with the air horn milled off. Looking down from the front the passenger side down leg booster has a distribution tab at 2:00 o'clock and the driver side has one at 12:00 o'clock. Any ideas on the application of this piece?

There is a front metering block with it and it is stamped 3310-2. You are probably right. I always had the idea that the distribution tabs were there for a specific engine application to help even out the fuel from cylinder to cylinder. Could be wrong though. Eric Jackson probably knows.

I have a 3310 "EH" carb here dated 163 that has a distribution tab on the choke side primary booster at between 1:00 and 2:00 and a distribution tab on the throttle side primary booster at 12:00 as viewed with the "front" of the main body at 6:00 and the "rear" at 12:00.

It is also a 6R2762 casting.

The tabs on the boosters were designed to help correct lean/rich cylinders on certain dual plane manifolds. The 3418 I rave about so much also has them, as does the 4296 L88/ZL1 carb.

Thanks Eric. Sounds like that is what I have, but without the choke horn I don't know. I can probably use it to piece together a carb some time.
