Nova air cleaner & Pvc parts number

What where the correct parts number for a nos air filter and the pvc valve for a 69 L78 nova automatic car. Thanks

Wouldn't it be the same for the nova as the camaro? Purple PCV valve and the 212CW mesh air filter? I believe "square mesh" was the assembly line version? Tommy Mathison still may have some valves left.

An Auto.trans didn't dictate these.
Chevrolet used the very popular AC #A212CW open element filter,aka GM #6421746,on the assembly line.Either square mesh or diagonal (diamond) mesh were possible,but the white wording on the outer edge should say,"BEST WAY TO" in front of Protect.
Sometime during 1974,they dropped the "BEST WAY TO" wording,and began the slogan with just Protect.

They used the AC PCV valve #CV-736C,aka GM #6423695.
This is NOT the purple shaded valve.

Looks that way but there is repops out there for both Square and diagonal mesh. Rick, Assembly line did not use the purple PCV in the hipo motors?

I would call that close,but not considered "assembly line correct".
It's a real field service replacement for your 69 Nova.
As Jim states,that's the later 77-78 issued filter,and will look,fit & function perfectly on your car.
It's nearly identical to the same filter they used during assembly of your 69 Nova,but not quite "correct" do to some subtle details like the wording..I do think Jim's price is much more acceptable to many today,compared to what I've seen the earlier issued ones sell for...$600 +.
It's up to you decide and no one else,as some don't want to be that dialed in or anal with their parts and the prices they cost,while others strongly do with a passion.
Charleys 70 Z is a good example.

I strongly believe the assembly line did,but not on EVERY single "Go Fast" solid lifter engine.
Only a small handful originally got them,compared to the mass majority that never did.
If anyone was to make a blanket statement that EVERY single one did,would just be inaccurate.

Yes Mark,it too used the same PCV valve.
If we had our Spring VetteFest going on right now,we could all be dissecting Charleys camaro over a box of popcorn.
