Engine block code 3960026 G

Head casting identification C

Engine VIN code No stampping

Car VIN 344679Z102726

Body tag ST 69-34467 BF 0022 BDY

TR 930 75 B PNT



Gear box 9-39Z102726

I can start telling you it's a 1969 442 ragtop, and it definitely is not a W-machine.

Engine block code is 68 - 69 400.
The Z in the VIN # designates it as a California built car.
Head casting C was used on 67-69 425 & 455 motors, Used in H/O's 442's & Toronados. Big valves.

10/4, It seems to be hard all together to find info, the only books I see are expensive.

If you're talking about the "442 Resto Guide," it sucks. I've seen a used book place ask $90 for it on eBay. No one should spend more than $15 on it.

Used on 67-69 400s also.

Reason its not a W30 is it was built in California.
