Default MCACN leftovers

I was having an equipment malfunction with my camera flash so this will be brief.

First off, the only car with flames that caught my eye.

I was lucky enough to find Mr.Cumby while he was enjoying one of Darren's culinary treats. He took time out to introduce me to The First Lady of Donahue.

The Mayor was always busy judging and I failed to say hello.

I was able to chat with Tom a couple of times, he said he was still looking forward to driving 2010 Yenko for the first time with the new power plant.

This stinger hood caught my eye, a 67 Chevelle L88 converted by the original and only owner. Nice job.

Obviously this was the highlight of the show. Even if my flash was working properly it could not capture what it was like standing next to this masterpiece.

The only thing this car was missing was a little soot inside the exhaust!

Somebody said there was a Corvair show here last week and when it was over several of them would not start so they got pushed into this corner to wait for the wrecker.

OK, where's Kasey? I'm surprised he let this one slide.

'ya know Dennis I started shooting in the bottom of the convention center, by the time I got to you I was ready to throw my camera.

I really spent more time trying hunt down other sYc members rather than checking out the cars. It was great to meet you and Ken T and even Charlie was very pleasant.
I said hi to Darren and he handed me lunch and I never saw him again.
The Mayor and Stefano were very busy looking (loved that Nickey display), same with the SCW guys. The show really needs two days to check out and several hours to decompress afterwards. I don't recommend my plan (6 hrs at show/13 hrs traveling).
From the moment I walked in the front door and was greeted by Marty Schorr (thanks for those passes by the way ) until the cab back to the airport, this was an experience I will never forget. To have my son come along and see these cars and meet you guys was just icing on the cake.

Bob A. = AWESOME

I can't thank you all enough for the warm welcome.

Well now you know.

C'mon back to the Gibb Show in August and the SCR in September, then stick around for the 2nd Annual MCACN. That oughta fill your senses for a while, and you'll still be home in time for Turkey!

Thanks for stopping to chat. Hope our Midwest manwoman didn't scare you off.
