..did they make them that early or are they later service dates? 1976? or 1986? Thanks...
also 3904392 dated 3-1-67...L-88/89 correct? Would this head be a matched pair to the 842? How about value opinions? Worth more separate than together? Thanks, Max |

Max,
GM made several "Heavy Duty" 66 427 Corvettes. which were the precurser to the 67 L-88. These were a back door item sold to racers. So if they had pre-production L-88 mtors in 66 cars they had to have produced and tested the parts for them earlier. If you are looking to sell it the most value would be for a Corvete collector with a 66 HD car. So an ad in the NCRS driveline would be the best marketing for that piece. You need to be a NCRS member to place the ad so if you have a friend that is a member have them place the ad for you. As far as value...I can't help there. Hope his helps, Rich |

The 392s are worth alot more than a 842s IMHO.Probably a 68 dated 842 not a 66.As I have never seen one that early. I have a pair of 842s dated later in 67 and a single 392 to match yours if you need it.Jeff
