I have a Fresh Built BBC-454 & Would Like to Some Input As to How much Horsepower it "SHOULD" make?It's in my 1979 Trans AM- Here is my combo
Early 2 Bolt Block-040 Zero decked Early Cast Crank-010-polished& set up for RPM's Con Rod's-Bowtie Dimple Rods with Big Bolts Cylinder Heads- "290" Large Oval Ports Shaved-bowl Blended-Pocket ported with Big Valves(All Ferrera Parts) Camshaft- Crane POWERMAX-Solid Roller(Nitrous Oxide Grind)-246/254-114-615/636 Full Roller Motor-Roller Lifter's-Comp Cams-7/16 Magnums Roller Rocker's-Roller Chain- Pushrods-TFS 9.25+.375-Full MSD ignition with HEI no vacuum Intake Manifold-Edelbrock Performer 2-0 Permastar Finish Carb-Im running a Holley 750 V.S--But I Have a Holley 800 DP-thats ready to be jetted to this combo.. Fuel pump-Holley Race pump with Regulator(All Electric) with BIG Gas Line-(No NOS YET) This is connected to a H.D Manual 4 speed-with a Street/Strip Clutch & A ScatterShield-& i have a Prepped Rear end with New Internals & 3.73 gears
