Default BRISTOL RACE, TN

Anyone going to the Bristol national event this weekend? I noticed that Wenzel, McNeish and Beeler are registered for Stock Eliminator. Two '67 Z's at the same race.......

Bob I was going to try and go but too many family commitments to do this weekend. Bet that is a neat site to see two Tahoe Turquoise 67 Z's sitting side by side! I am going to Carlisle next weekend and hope to meet Jerry while I am there as I understand he is one of the concours judges. If you go to Bristol be sure and take a few pics and post them up here if you can.

Looks like Jerry was 9th at 10.79in D/S. Wenzel was 11th at 10.66 in C/S. I believe both are eliminated from Competition. Go to the NHRA website. Seems like the times are slow this weekend. Maybe real warm and muggy down there.

Talked to D. Beeler. Said the DA was about 4300 feet. SLOW! Everyone was two to three tenths slow. Bristol was a factored track when we ran there in the '70's. It's not now.

not many in Stock or Superstock. No Comp Eliminator either. Better racing at the DIV-1 points meets in my opinion.
