This was the parts counter sold tach. I would think this is "correct" for whatever you want to bolt is onto. I can say for sure that it will attact attention to whatever you bolt it to.

Jason </div></div>Not entirely true. That tach was sold over the counter after 1971 so putting it to something older would not be correct.

so would it be unusual for a guy with an earlier chevrolet to purchase it over the counter and install it on his car? i have never seen one of these myself.
