Default Value on a low (really low) mile 1995 Camaro 1LE?

Hi Guys. I've been offered a trade on my Buick. It's a 14,000 KM (8,680 miles) 1995 Camaro 1LE. Coincidentally, I've owned a couple 1LE's new (a 1994 was the last one) so I know them pretty well. The car has been pampered from what I gather, and there's a good paper trail (Canadian car too). As I understand it, they produced somewhere in the range of 28 delivered in Canada (out of a possible 106 total?).

Anyway, what's it worth? I need some input pretty quick, and I believe you folks are my go-to guys for info.

Thanks a bunch fellas!

There was an extremely low mile 95 at Wagner's about a month ago. IIRC, he was asking somewhere around 20k for it.

Thanks folks. I spent all day digging. I finally tracked down an old acquaintance who is big into these cars. He figures it ought to wholesale in the 12,500 to 15,000 range (actually, his exact words were "I'll buy it sight unseen right now for $12,500..if it's nice, I'd go to 15,000&quot. So that makes Wagner's price seen just about right.

Thanks again. If it goes together, I'll shoot some pix and post 'em .

Here's a quick teaser. Car should be in my shop within a few weeks. From everything I have, it's pretty much 14,000 KM (8,600 original miles) perfect. If it is anything like the '94 I bought new, it'll rip. I absolutely adore these old "we're not racing, race cars" that the old GM built. It will be "For Sale". is that a B4C?

I thought all the Z28' back then had the black roof and mirrors ... ?

nice looking wheels, those 17"? I knew you could get 17's on the SS's, but I have never seen a "regular" car with the SS wheels (unless those are Corvette wheels)

Hi Jim.

No. It's not a B4C. It's a 1LE, which was a factory lightweight package designed for SCCA types. Some of my old GM of Canada pals like Bill Ball (Engineering) did much of the groundwork on them for the old Player's Challenge series up here in Canada. Then, if you recall manufacturers other than GM were doing rather well in showroom stock. The 1LE fit pretty much perfectly within the SCCA rules. The 1LE option deleted and blocked other options/equipment such as AC, cruise, power windows, power door locks, fog lamps, optional radios, etc. The cars received a minimal amount of sound deadener. The suspension was revised (deCarbon gas shocks was the big change in the 4th gen cars), and outside, the bodies received body color roofs and mirrors.

When I had my new '94 (which took forever to get after the order was made), I was stopped by a cop in a similar B4C. We had a nice chat. He had a close look at the car and his only big comment was "I guess those are the Camaros I should be worried about...." L-O-L.

As far as the wheels are concerned, I'm getting the original wheels and tires with the car. Those are SLP SS wheels and Goodyear boots.

Thanks for the question.

Beautiful car Wayne. I don't know that I've ever seen one that color.

When I was in high school, my girlfriend at the time's dad bought a new 93 Z28, the first one any of us had seen in person. Burgundy red and a six speed. Man, that car looked tough, especially from the back with those big GS-Cs tucked under it.
