Cool!!!.
Real memories for me as I had a couple o' these back in the 70's, one a '66 flat front and the other a '69, both short WB models..

Check to see if yours has a 12 bolt!.
If it's a 6 banger and you're gonna add a V8, being a '69 your doghouse should have the wide style already where the earlier flat fronts had the skinny 6 banger only doghouses..
With a doghouse swap on my '66 and a stock '72 350/4Bbl w/ original 3-Tree I could get the front off the ground!.

If you're removing the custom interior keep your eyes peeled for the build RPO decal stuck on the inside of the rear side panels..
My '66 had rear cargo doors only and the build decal indicated the side door delete also the '69 had a 12 bolt and the decal showed it was a factory 4:11!.

You're lucky the panels are clean w/ no windows added!.
Nice slots too!!!

I'd love to have that van. My Dad had one with a straight 6. We rode in that van all over PA and down to Ocean City, MD.

You gotta do a 1970's vintage van.

Heck, we have Day Two cars, you can be the first with a Day Two van!

Definitely the ScoobyDoo Mystery Machine.

Those are cool vans.. I remember back in the mid to late 80s I worked at a gas station and a guy that worked at the neighboring gas station across the street was really into those vans. He had several of them from pristine to rough condition..He would fix them up and cruise them around....

They are very cool vans. My cousin bought one this year to cruise around town with and use for his business.

It has a 6cyl w/Powerglide.

He doesn't like it on the highway...he says it feels like every on coming car is going to hit him head-on and that pulling in and out of driveways feels like it's going to tip over.
