Default L78 Pistons

Where are you L78 guys buying your pistons from?I'm restoring a L78 70 chevelle.

I would like to stay close to stock comp. If possible.I can't seem to find any piston.

Any piston manufacturer on the planet has an L78 blueprint...TRW L2242F NF, CP &quot;C3-CP&quot;, JE 1&quot;93518&quot;...pick your poison!

Speed Pro makes/made a good replacement,don't know if they still are

I put the Speed Pro's in my L-78 El Camino. My machinist had a set in stock that was made in the USA, but he said some of the new ones were imported, and the quality was down. It might be worth looking into.

Not sure what the part number is Donnie. I took that pic at the machine shop one day, when I was checking out the progress. The pistons are 30 over. I'll find the paperwork and email the part number. Assuming I can find it.
