I ran across a 396/402 block that is coded CJB. According to the guides this is as follows:
CJB 1969 Camaro 402 325 PG L-35 alum hd I dont recall seeing any aluminum head 396's except for the L-89 cars. Is this something that is just wrong in the guides or was there another lower hp aluminum headed 396 made? |

Every guide I located on the internet all have the same error - I knew something did not sound right so I checked many of them and all refer to the L35 w. aluminum heads.

Wouldn't a CJB be a Camaro 402-325 manual trans block? Didn't 396's became 402's late in '69?
