The problem is there were early repos made in the 70's or 80's that look perfect. What is on the back ?

Just my opinion, but the face appears to have been over tightened based on the deep screw impressions. Also, other little differences from two originals that I have. I'm thinking that the face was replaced.

Seems like it should have an ink stamped part # and date on the back if it was a real GM piece.

Brian,
The numbers and AC logo are not as crisp as the original 140 speedos I have seen. Its hard to see in the picture on the back but the numbers and AC logo should be visible on the back of an original 140 speedo on the originals I have seen. Mark |
