Here we go......Leaving tomorrow morning at 7:30......We will be travelling with my son Chris (66 Chevelle w built 406), Dave (I'm Rare.... Flamed Pick-up), and Gary (Gwawa 65 Biscayne 454) and driving to Warren, Mi to register....Looking forward to meeting up with old friends and the new ones that will be met along the way.....Great Times with no prior plans.....Just go with the flow....As I think about all the experiences encountered over the last 7 Power Tour years.......It's one of those things that over time just get's more "Important" to do........Meeting and mingling with "True" car guys........Last year at this time, we were in Cocoa Beach for the start, and between me, Craig, Dave, and Charley.....we basically took 1/2 the engine apart in my son Chris's car in the Hotel parking lot chasing a vacuum leak.....LOL......Drove over to the GM repair guy's on Saturday morning and they found the problem within one minute.........LOL.....You can't make this stuff up..........We can laugh about it now, but it was pretty stressful at the time.....
Even when the Nu Yawk car showed up and I was ready to slit my wrist's.........Chris said "Don't worry about it.....just fix it and we will be laughing about the day it showed up while having dinner on the Tour this year......and we will....... The Power Tour is not about the Destination..........It's about the "Journey".........Last year we met Chad Maskrey (He had the DuraMax Twin Turbo Diesel Nova Station Wagon)......he's traveling with us this year along with Charley, Mark Webster, Mark Steilow...........WoW!!!!!! ...........Can't wait till tomorrow.........Anyhow.....Stay tuned for daily pic's and updates.... Camera Guy.......
