Default Early 1970 Nova L-78 Throttle Linkage

Does anyone have any pictures of the early 1970 Nova L-78 throttle rod and return spring set up.
Is the rod the same as the 69 Nova L-78? My car is an Aug. built car and has the rod set up.

Early Novas had a throttle rod. Switched to cable around Jan. I cannot find any pictures
of the rod and the spring set up. I think they are different than the 69 set up.

Here I am Sammy...sorry for not being on call 24/7

I believe the 70 throttle rod/spring is different than the 68-69 setup...main reason was the low profile "569" intake manifold....this changed a number of things under the hood. I can get you some photos next week if needed. The change from rod to cable did take place in early January/70 along with a few other things.

My car has the original throttle rod on it and it is not a 2 piece rod like the 69. It is a
one piece rod, very different. I have never seen a picture of this set up.

That is correct...the 70 rod is a one piece unit. I have some photos of our 70 survivor 4 speed car...I will post them soon. The throttle spring is also different from the 69 version.
