Looking to buy a 67 Chevelle SS. The VIN tells us that it is a "K" or Kansas City car. However, the trim tag denotes a "BF" indicating a Freemont CA. car. Other than this, the car appears to be correct in every way in terms of engine, interior, trans, etc. Is it possible for it to have had 2 different production locations? Any insight / help greatly appreciated.

Not a chance. If the tags are as you say, then at least one of them has been switched and I would avoid the car at all costs. Do you have any pictures of the car/tags?

A friend of mine is looking for a '67 and ran this one past me. Since I know a little, but am highly "enthused," I run stuff past you experts for verification. Again, thanks for that. Here's the link to the car he was considering in Salisbury, MD. Appears to be a private seller.
