Default DumDum in tail and quarter seam 69 Camaro

More dumb questions.

I pulled this stuff out of the seam where the quarter panel meets the tail panel on my 69 about 15 years ago. It is very hard, but was obviously soft when put it. Similar to the 3M strip caulk, but believe it hardened more than the 3M product would have even over that time. You can see the indent of two fingers when it was installed at the factory. I may have taken pics when I removed this, but that was before digital cameras, so they would be old 35mm. Not sure where those pics would be. It was stuffed in at the bottome of the seams on each side.

Any of you find a similar substance? If so, does anyone know what it is? Or where to get it?

On a related note, I am assuming that there needs to be a similar substance stuffed in at the very back of the quarter windows. There appears to be a little gap there even with weatherstirp and fuzzies installed.
