Ok , thanks for the input guys. I pulled the dates off the heads an they are 11/13/8 on the even head and 11/09/8 on the odd head.The 11/13/8 has me a bit confused, "13" ? 13th day right, so I have a set of Nov 9-13 of 1968 ,GM Alum. L-88/ZL-1 heads. Sounds like keepers to me. Ill look for a block that could match the set an go from there. Maybe between now an retirement Ill get lucky an find something to drop the combo in,Ive got ten years to go !

We would have to see the dates to know. Many late 70's dated heads have similar dates. The date should end in "68" on a 68 head and earliest 074 head I can remember seeing is December 68.
