Default 70 Nova side window moldings

Need some help with this -- 70 Novas had either painted or brite alum moldings on top of the door and quarter windows. I can find all kinds of brite moldings but not the painted moldings ... does anyone have an answer where painted can be obtained?

Thanks -- The TAZ

Quarter windows had either aluminum bright trim or painted steel trim to match the body color. On the door if no bright trim is used the door frame would be painted body color. I don't think they reproduce the painted trim for the quarter windows so you will need to find an original set from a 68-72 nova parts car.

Thanks for the reply!! Thats kind of what I thought -- but wanted to hear from the Nova crowd ...

Does anyone know of any used steel moldings being available?

Thanks again -- The TAZ

Are they aluminum (brite) or steel (painted) material?

Thanks -- The TAZ
