I decided to try out boat racing with my Jersey Speed Skiff this past Sunday. I was a little hesitant in the first heat and finished last by 1/2 lap in a 3 lap race. I was bouncing around quite a bit. In the second heat, I got the inside lane and did a lot better and finished first. It was a little choppy so it wasn't the easiest conditions for a first race but it was fun. I'm not sure if you need a facebook account to view this or not.

That looks like fun Jeff. I used to have a 18' HydroStream that ran low 80's with a 175Hp Mariner. That boat LOVED 6"-8" of chop. A lot of people don't know is when it's choppy, there's less boat in the water which makes it run faster.
Great pictures and thanks for sharing. Kurt
