Default Day 2 GTX

I attended a local cruise-in today and this GTX showed up. The owner traded a 72 Ford van for it in 1979 and has only put tires on it and one repaint 25 years ago.
Still has the 440, 4-speed, 150 speedo and tach.
He said he took the Dana rear out in the early 80's because it was geared to low...lol

Love the big 10" slots. Thats a great colour [SS1/Sunfire Yellow] I restored my 68 Charger back to its orig SS1 hue.
I wonder if he'd backtrade that van now!

cheers Dave

Nice GTX...a guy I workout with had a 69 RR raised just like that..said he got pulled over all the time by the cops..if that GTX got rear ended hard the car would go right under the GTX.

I remember so many cars that looked just like this one.

I remember those air shock tire rubbing days. They were cool.
