I know its either a 2nd gen Z/28 or a 71 or 72 Chevelle any way of telling.

What's the date of the steel wheel? It's stamped on the rim portion surrounding the valve stem hole. For example looks something like this: K10 4 (valve stem hole) 3 AV; April 3rd of 1970.
