Default 1981 corvette w/Yenko installed turbo

I have seen a 1981 Corvette with a Yenko installed turbo. Owner has documentation proving installation by Yenko in Cannonsburg, Pa. in fall of 1981. I cannot find any info about cars modified by Yenko in the eighties other that the Z28 Camaros. Are there any records of cars modified by Yenko besides the Camaros in 1981?

Any records are long gone. When the Turbo Z's were built, they had tuning problems and Joe Dvorchak used the old hipo shop in Canonsburg to work on the cars, leaky roof and all ! I'm guessing that was where the Corvette would have been done as well.

Was there a mag article on this car back in the day, black w/ yellow/gold stripes and coves?
Love to see pics of the car now also original docs.
Welcome aboard!

OP may be long gone but I came upon this pic again today.
Obviously an earlier car but possibly the turbo car in question was later bodied w/ newer parts?
