I thought we had a wheels and tires thread started? I could not find so I started a new one, always room for day 2 wheels and tires. Here is a picture of the wheels and tires that where going on my 66 mustang (ops the cheaters are too tall). I think I am now going to put these on my 65 GTO. I love they way the old tires look!

That's a problem running radicals on the front and Bias ply on the back.

For a time in the early 1990's I ran radials on the front- 225-70-15 up front and a pair of 265-60-15 bias belted tires out back. I had ladder bars on it too. I didn't really notice anything terribly difficult with driving the car. Admittedly, those rear tires were always doing smoke shows. I recall a few times setting the line lock in traffic at a red light and there was so much smoke that nobody could see the light change color, and I wasn't even the lead car in line

When we had the big snow storm here a few weeks back, I was notified that there was a leak in the roof of my storage unit. When I got down there, luckily somehow nothing was ruined, although the units on either side of mine had a lot of damage. I changed to a new unit and in the process took some pictures of part of my tire stash. Enjoy...
