Default vintage Mallory rev limiter

Does anyone run a vintage Mallory rev limiter and if they do is it with multiple spark discharge system

My understanding is that these types of rev limiters are for points ignitions only.

Are you are talking about the adjustable Mallory rev limiter? If so, I have one in my car. I'm running all Mallory; Unilite distributor, Hyfire ignition box and a Pro Master coil. Will it work with a MSD setup?.....I'm not sure.

That would be correct. The Blue is the earlier version.

Paul, from what I have seen, these blue units are from the 60's to early 70's. The one that Matt has is red and clearly has a date of 1986. I have also seen the rpm dial as either purple or blue as well.
