I looked at this car last fall, great options and color with most of the window sticker; missing the top third including the dealer and the last few digits of the vin. Wrong motor and trans, drivers side quarter and driver's door repair done back in the '70s, surface rust but solid underneath, the paint driver is quality with small bubbles/flaws. Needs intake/carb/air cleaner/ valve covers/shifter/XT wheels with trim rings/exhaust manifolds/smog / exhaust/ etc. to get back to original. Nice its a Berger sold car.

Isn't that kind of cheap for an L78 Camaro?

Those Day 2 rocker moldings are strange. I thought they were sidepipes at first glance. Maybe that's their purpose.

wrong motor and trans, window sticker is impossible to tie to the car if it has the top third missing, as mentioned in the previous post. So, I would say, unless that "old paperwork" he has includes an original bill of sale or some other specific order document you can prove 'L78 Berger' with you have nothing but claims - so the price is kind of a gamble even at 36K. Maybe best to get a rush NCRS document before it sells....

I think the current owner did receive the NCRS verification that is was sold at Berger, that was not known when I looked at the car.

documented 396-375 with a berger shipper documented by ncrs . those dont fall out of trees if the original paperwork is real.

This is a question mark right now, until there is a piece of paper that says L78 and has this car's VIN preserved on it. Nice if he has it.
