Some entertainment for you guys. One seller is claiming to have an LS6 Chevelle convertible, and the previous owner has its original protecto plate for sale on another auction proving it's an original 350 car.

I think I would rather have the nice original 350 Malibu car BEFORE its "restoration", nice black and white colors, great 350-4v engine, it should have had a 12 bolt with that engine
edit: rereading the fake LS6 ad, the seller DOES leave loopholes to keep him out of trouble: "<span style="color: #FF6600">SUPER NICE RARE 1970 CHEVELLE CONVERTIBLE</span> WITH THE SS 454/450 HIGH PERFORMANCE LS6 - ENGINE" car is a 1970 Malibu convertible, it has a 454 engine in it now "AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES THIS CAR IS VERY NICELY DONE ALSO AND JUST RECENTLY HAD A COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL FRAME OFF CONCOURS ROTISSORIE RESTORATION,EVERY NUT AND BOLT AND DETAIL <span style="color: #FF6600">WAS DONE TO FACTORY SS LS6 SPECS</span>" car WAS restored, just not to the way it left the assembly line in 1970 "The Vin number matches the Block number" meaning the block was re-stamped ![]()

I emailed a question to the Ebay ad asking if it was originally a 350 car. We'll see how he responds.

He just responded saying "yes, I believe so" to my inquiry about whether it was an original 350 car.
Looks to be a well done clone for $70k. You certainly couldn't build it for that, I would think.
